Praying The Word over your husband’s purpose and destiny

Is your husband called to be a minister? Pastor? Good husband? Whatever the call may be we have to make sure that we are praying the Word of God over their lives. The angels only respond to His Word not your emotions or tears. (Psalms 103:20)

Can you honestly say that you know how to pray the Word of God for your husband, children or family? In this example we are going to say your husband is called to be a Pastor. You can follow this example in finding scriptures and praying them for whatever your husband is called to do.

1. What does the bible say about Pastors? 1 Timothy 3 – Qualifications for Overseers – Read in its entirety as time allows but or illustration I have selected 2 points
   • Blameless,
   • The husband of one wife
2. Now find scriptures in regards to “Blameless” and speak the Word out of your mouth
   • Psalms 19:13 – Keep (insert husband’s name). from willful sins; may they not rule over him. Then he will be blameless, innocent of great transgression. In Jesus name!
3. Now find scriptures in regards to being faithful to one wife and speak the Word out of your mouth
   • Ephesians 5:25-33 – (insert husband’s name), love your wife (insert your name), just as Christ also loved the church and gave Himself for her, that He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish. So (insert husband’s name) ought to love his own wife (insert your name) as his own body; (insert husband’s name) loves his wife as he loves himself. For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as the Lord does the church. For we are members of His body, of His flesh and of His bones. “For this reason (insert husband’s name) shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife (insert your name), and the two shall become one flesh.” This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let (insert husband’s name) love his own wife as himself, and let the wife (insert your name) see that she respects her husband.

Prayer for husbands

Lord I come before asking for forgiveness of any and all sin. Today I plead the blood of Jesus over my husband (spouse) from the crown of his head to the sole of his feet. I plead the Blood of Jesus over his (spouse) destiny and purpose and decree and declare that what You called him (spouse) before You formed him (spouse), he (spouse) will become.

I plead the blood of Jesus against every generational curse and stronghold and declare and decree that his (spouse) purpose and destiny shall live and not die and declare the goodness of the Lord. I declare and decree that the call You have called him(spouse) to is not dead but sleeping and that he will take up his bed and walk in Jesus name.

Satan I command you to loose your hold and I stand flat footed in your face declaring the righteousness of the Lord. Old things have passed away and behold all things have become new.

I thank you Lord that in dreams and visions of the night when deep sleep falls upon (spouse) you will speak into his (spouse) ears and seal his (spouse) instruction leading and guiding him (spouse) into purpose of destiny.

I blind and deafen every evil monitoring spirit that would try and keep him (spouse) from pressing forward toward the mark of the prize of the higher calling which is also in Jesus Christ.
